Hydra-Matic Transmission Question
Hey all, im new here, well let me get straight the the point, i wana know what kind of car this transmission i have came out of, im trying to sell it, but i refuse to sell it if i dont know what kind of vehicle its for. i dont wana sell to some body and i ended up being wrong, the guy i got it from said it was from a trans am,i just want to be sure. heres the pictures of the codes i took, i uploaded them to tinypic.com, thanks to all who can help me in advanced i appreciate it. I believe it amy be a GM 4T60-E transmission, but i am not positive

From what I can see, the "7BSW" indicates it is from a 1997 N body with a 3.1L engine, and it is a 4T60-E transmission.
