Humble witness of GXP
I've seen a few of the new Bonnie GXP'* during the day here and there going by in the other lane. They look good, but remind me of any other Pontiac on the road. However, I saw one at night a few days ago and had no idea what it was. Blueish european headlights in a very aggressive stance were coming towards me through town at about 10pm and I had no clue what it was. I was turning left at a light so I let the car go by...OMG THAT is a GXP?!!
I was impressed.

Posts like a Ricer Type-R
The first pull in DrJay'* car was IMPRESSIVE. Then we heatsoaked and started working on the KR.
This car is CAPABLE of being a 13 second beast quite easily with just a little attention and final tuning.
And my first word to you wasn't 'Hello'. I think it was "Hey". (as in Hey, dumbass!)
Off to search the forums.........found it.
I thought I'd be a target, too. 20% tint all the way around, #3 and #8 stickers in the back window......nobody looks at me, either!
Back on topic. I like the looks of the GXP ALOT. Can't wait to spot one at night, but lurking in the back of my mind is how the reviews of them are going.[/quote]

heheh true, I'm still stuck in that 15.1 range :? (unverified...relax!), but that GXP is a thing of beauty...oh apparently the 2005 SLE will look just like a GXP, but with no Northstar....95SLE posted a link to a pic a few days ago.

I've only seen one GXP on the road here (though a few have been sold at the local dealership) and that is my neighbor'* who works at that dealership. For a while I never saw him driving it, I only saw it in his driveway. Then one night I spotted from the back what I knew was a Bonne, but when I drove up next to it (and saw the plates) I realized it was my neighbor and his GXP. Then again about a week or so ago late at night I came to an intersection and there was a car to my left. As I drove through the intersection I stared at this car because I knew it looked familiar, but couldn't tell because the lights were straight at me. A few seconds later I said "Oh My God it'* the GXP!" I swear that car looks so good on the road. Having the choice between getting an SSEi or a GXP some day is going to be the hardest decision of my life
