Default HUD option??

Almost everyone that has owned a Bonneville or knows of them cant believe my car doesnt have HUD. i wish i had it and want it soo bad. everyone tells me that they thought it was standard in the SSEi. do i have the only SSEi without it? and is it possible to add it easily to a car that doesnt have it? i know the windshield is different, but i know someone who has it and replaced their windshield with a regular one and said there is no difference. is the ENTIRE dash different or could i find a wrecked one that has it and use it?

I've seen plenty of '03'* around here without them. They were an option on the SSEi'* starting in '03, if I remember right...

I seem to also remember someone adding a HUD to a non-HUD'd car. I imagine it'* a pain.

beginning in the 03 and carrying out thru 05 the HUD was an option for the Bonneville SSEi and GXP

you would need the upper dash pad, HUD Unit, and controll switch. You would also need the complete dash wiring from an SSEI to make the swap easier. Also the IPM from a HUD car as well

doable, not that bad to install, just need the source the correct parts
