00 SSEi dark blue, tan leather 83k miles loaded one owner has some service records. decent tires new brakes and battery for $7500 firm. if you guys think its a good deal I will schedule an appt with him. I do have to sell my Lexus SC400 in order to get the bonne.
any reason I should stay away from a 00 model if it was well taken care of?

Price seems quite high to me. The prices in Michigan for 3800-powered cars never seems to follow the "standard", however.
I suggest you expand your search to include Michigan.

This is for a SSEi not just a N/A 3800 motor car. Car is clean he has a nice house with a garage the car was parked in his driveway so Im not sure if it was garage kept or driveway kept. I have not seen any nice clan 1 owner SSEi go for less than 7k on ebay.

All 3800s seem to be cheaper in Michigan for some reason. NA and SC. Maybe it'* because they're assembled here and are EVERYWHERE...
I'm not convinced MI has more rust on the cars than other states.
