Default How do you find?

Hey guys I see how everyone on here always gets great scores on parts for there bonny of all years at junkyards. I would love to be able to visit some junkyards around here to see if I can get any for my 01 se, but the problem is I have no idea were there are any that. Is there a website that you can type in your zip code and gives you a list or do you guys just know by ear or just seen them while driving?

Phonebook. Check under Auto Salvage or something related.

Try this website:
http://www.car-part.com/

Put in info on some part you may be interested it, pick the area and search. You'll come up with a number of yards, and the distance from your zip code, and their phone number etc.

Did you try "Interior Panels" ? This search engine is widely used by JY'* throughout the country. Familiarize yourself with it and it can be quite helpful.

No, you're not dumb at all! I actually would also have never thought to type "interior panel" because "door panel" is what I'd expect others to use to classify parts. Well, have fun with your junkyard searches!

Not complete by any means, but very useful nonetheless.

Not dumb at all. The thing I like about that form is that you can just scroll down through all the categories and see how they list the parts. You don't have to type something in that may not correspond to their listing. I have found that when you go to many of the JY'* web pages, they use that same form to search their particular site. Seems to be widely used so it pays to become familiar with how to use it.
