Is the security light flashing when the car is off?

I don't know where to look for that light. I don't see one flashing when I get out of the car so I don't really know.

The security light for the car is on the upper right side of the instrument cluster. Not sure if the radio has its own light for the Theftlock feature, but you can read up on it here:

I went out on a limb and disconnected the battery to replace the airbag and when I hooked the battery back up the radio still worked. Now If I can figure out if my car has a DRL setup ( Daytime Running Lights. I was told by my local shop that it didn't have DRL"* and my turn signal switch was bad but after I replaced my turn signal switch my headlights and brake lights are still on.
