well I know why the guy would take the plates and insurance off.. I transfered the plates from my old car to my new car.. so that means the old car had no plates on it. lol. and it just so happened that my insurnace ran out just 2 weeks after I took the car off the road which means no insurance. Something similar probably happened with this owner. lol.
