The Bonneville is not meant to be as powerful by nature. But my opinion is the car needs more power than that ALOT more!

Cause the Bonnie is actually getting 285hp.

Source: http://edmunds.nytimes.com/news/auto...7/page014.html

But many other sites are saying 300: http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame...ar.mv&num=1503

But the people who attest to 300hp, prefix it with "nearly"

Who knows...

I’m sure it wont be hard to get 300hp regardless.

With a V8, anything is possible.

Agreed....we pull a lot more out of our V6'* with less mods, so another 2 cylinders and the mod kings will be laughing.

I wonder who on the forum will show up with a GXP first

For modding purposes I'll take an L67 over a Northstar any day.

Nobody mods Northstars but dune buggy builders, thus a very tiny aftermarket; thousands of people mod the L67 and the aftermarket is huge.

Good Point..but the V8 will be alot easier to get over the 300HP mark. Think about it...starting off at 285 with a v8 ..it'l be pretty damn easy. I guarantee some L67'* will be able to keep up with it though. Modded one'* of course. Give me a couple of years..i'll be up to 300 HP
