Default Hose Clamps

I usually use 45 degree nose pliers for squeezing these hose clamps, but on our cars access is limited in some areas. Before I go out and buy the cable type pliers, do you guys have a special trick?

I used to fight as well. Then after a bad Honda experience I bought the correct tool. If there'* a possible need for them, I ensure I have them on hand. There is no doublt in my mind that certain tools are well worth the money.

Buy the tool!

The tool is the best automotive specialty tool. EVER.

While I still don't have one, I will someday. If you do much of your own work you won't regret it, IMO.

Like said, there are a few spots on the Bonne that are just too much of a PITA without the tool.

I didn't know there was a special tool for that style clamp.

Added to my "want" list.

I always use my 45 degree needle nose, regular needle nose, or channel locks (nice wide grip makes them perfect).

Good luck behind the strut with the heater hoses. Even with the tool...they are a bit of a pain.
