It would be nice if we can see the dyno sheets to go with it.

You have 240, but it'* measured at the crank. You'll have considerably less at the wheels. With me, I have no dyno available, and have to go by estimates based on my mods and what they do to my times.

Turtle'* recent trip to the dyno was an eye-opener, but I don't think he would have done that after each mod to see what they all got him. Very expensive.

My friends F-body club did a Dyno Day one saturday. The whole club got a great group rate to rent the dyno out for a full 8 hours.

We really couldn't do that because we are so spread out but you might be able to find a local GP club that was doing a Dyno Day.

Default HP numbers

making hp is a sorta costly venture, but it helps if you can do most of the work yourself inshop. Having friends who own race fab. shops, engine rebuilding shops help, i`ve only tapped the Bonne`* potenial,355bhp@6000rpm, 395ft/lbs@3200rpm,i`ve been building and modding motors, cars for over 30yrs now,its not a job its` a hobby now with the new tranny almost done topend will be Wrens` not mine, my final drive ratio is now 3.79, but i`ll have to wait till spring for times....and a trip back to the dyno`... the nawwzzzzzz iis off but if i put it back on ....505hp i don`t think i`ll need it...turbo is possible ..still looking into it,plus a new stroker motor that i have sitting in my shop ( not stroked yet ) but the new yr will bring many hrs on R&D and candle lite till spring whoooo hooooooo. Sorry nawwzz goes back on regal racecar

I'm guessing I'm only at 275 right now, and will be for sure when the pulley gets here. It'* on the way. It'* really hard to guess what I have, but I habitually underestimate the hp 'value' of my mods so I don't get caught exaggerating! My 275 matches pretty closely to my estimated 1/4 mile times for this weight of car.

300hp would be nice, but I'm getting into the heads at that point. With only 80k miles on the Bonnie, the heads and manifolds will wait for at least another 20-40k.

Isn't there some type of device u can use to actually give you a number for your horsepower? I'd like to invest in one of those..

What engine are you stroking?
I was in the understanding that a series 2 or 1 3.8l will not have enough room to really "stroke" it. I talked to scat about it and they said they would billet me a new but we covered some numbers and they said it would be better to go with a GN 3.8.

Then I skipped the whole v6 deal and started on the v8.
