I stopped off at a grocery store a little bit ago to get some stuff. I pulled out and got in the left turn lane, just minding my own business checking out the woman in the extremely short dress getting gas.
I revved a little and let the clutch out and it caught a little and the car bucked forward. Out of nowhere behind me I look back and this 5.0 convertable jumps too.

I was almost giggleing like a schoolgirl about to get felt up for the first time. I checked to make sure 10psi was dialed in on the controller (since i changed it to compensate for hte cold air this morning) and got ready.

Light turned green and we rounded the corner and i pulled second gear at about 20mph... and waited. The guy with his TWO girls in the car gets up next to me and I looked over with that look... "this riceboy is gonna hand you your ***" type look

He downshifted and I matched his speed till he nailed it......

10 wonderful psi of boost, both tires working and barking in protest as the LSD digs in and does it'* work. This guys expectations soon dropped....

Second wound out at 8K and I had a length or more on him... pulled third and put it to the floor and pulled another grip of lenghts out and hit fourth and nailed the breaks....

I slowed at the next light and got over into the far lane for a turn and stuck my arm out the window with a big thumbs up and a smile.

The guy gets up next to me and doesn't look very happy... to top it off his passenger girlfriend/wife had a little smirk/smile on her face.. and the girl in the back was speachless. The whole car was so quiet you could hear a pin drop inside.

maby I should have made it a bit more unbelieveable by winding second out to 10,000 RPM rather than 8,000 RPM. And maby, a few more comments refering to myself as "Riceboy"

and sry, this story isn't quite up to par...

5.0 stangs are no where near 280 rwhp. i had an 88 GT convert. the rating on it was 225 HP at the crank.
