Default Hood Protector or Bra?

Ok here'* the deal. The front of my hood has a bunch of paint chips and stuff. Living in Wyoming tends to cause this. Big trucks flying rocks up into your face. Anyways getting back to the point. I know in the long run painting it would make it look better but what do you guys think about putting a hood protector on it. I don't really want a full bra just the hood protector. I'm leaning towards the hood protector just for the fact that if I paint it in a few months it would be back to where it is now.

I prefer the look of just the hood protector, and it'* easier than taking off a full bra all the time to clean. I'd go with that, and when you repaint it use the hood protector again. Just give it a few weeks before you use it on the new paint.

With your year, you have a lot of straight lines, and that'll help against wear like some 00+ people have complained about. I'm tempted to get the hood protector, as i'm seeing stuff i don't like, but it'd cover up the grills!

Love mine. Never causes problems, and it takes the rock hits instead of my paint.
