Just to make the trunk look better I went and got the carpet out of a blue 92 SE. Fits like a glove. Just gotta clean it :?

Are theses carpets machine washable?

No. They'll lose their shape. A soft brush and some soapy water are the most I'd attempt on them. I have done that before. You will still lose some of the natural shape of the carpet though (if you're talking about the side pieces).

Hand wash the bottom piece as well.

It rained moderatly last night and I peeked in the trunk and theres still more water in there. Not a whole lot still. What is the testing procedure?

Also this was a reminder to double check my schedule. I was supposed to be at McWork at 8am but I though it was 6. Wasted sleep

Hi Jacob,
Have you checked the drain tube from the power antenna? If that becomes disconnected, it'* a big opportunity for water to come in.

How do the trunk seals look??

Kinda off topic, but I noticed you said there was no spare tire cover, and you don't know your RPO codes. Try looking in your trunk lid, yes in it with a flashlight, your build sheet should be in there.

I have the same problem with my '92 SSEi... standing water in the trunk. I guess tomorrow I will check the taillights and the power antenna... where is the drain tube for it located?

Remove the carpet next to the RH wheel well. You'll see the antenna motor and connections. The rubber tube should be present, and it drains outside the wheel well. It could be blocked / damaged / disconnected.
