that sucks. I would have canvassed the parking lot for a car with damage that could have done it, but I guess it'* a little late for that. Just use your insurance. It shouldn't count against you since you weren't in the car.
btw, where in Upstate, NY are you?

well after "talking" with my dad all i got out of the "conversation" was deductable this, deductable that. something about it would cost 500 dollars to even report it, and how its not worth fixing because it will cost less then that..
yeah a note would of been nice, people around here are way to...*chooses the right words* rich, good, snobby for manners and morals.
*edit* yeah i looked at every single car in that parking lot, it looks from where i was parked, that the person was backing out so i geuss they left. im about 10 minutes away from schenectady, 20 minutes away from saratoga.

Go back to Price Chopper and talk to the manager, or the security guy. Tell them what happened and ask if they have video coverage of the area you were parked in. If they do, have the friggin cop come back and review the tapes. You might be able to get a tag off the car that did it.
yeah, theres not a ton you can do, just try all the things listed above, sorry about your car dude
my friends car got hit a while ago and they left a note and it said: "alot of people were watchin so im writing a note, sucka!" exactly what it said, my friend was pissed

i already talked to the manager almost as soon as it happened, we looked for my car in the tapes and the cart corral is blocking all of it and the row next to it (great camera placement)
that sucks, at least this person didnt even pretend to care haha

I know this isn't the same, but mine got slammed into by 2 shopping carts at Ingles one day. I had witnesses in the parking lot that saw it, the manager wouldn't even look at the tapes. He said there was nothing they could do.

ouch, 2 in one day? thats not cool at all, people need to treat other peoples cars with the same respect they give their own (which may be the problem haha)
