Default high mileage

I have over 260,000 miles on my '92 SE i got it last winter puta new subframe under the front rebuilt the transmission and still have a lot to do. i have put over 6,000 miles on it since i put it on the road two months ago. I am getting only 20 MPG right now. i need to put a new cam sensor interrupter. i get an engine code 41 cam sensor loss of signal. and i need to rebuilt the oil pump. I am looking for a cheap vehical to get me to work for a week so i can pull the engine again and do all the work I need to do. I am 18 and this is my first car I work at Advance Auto Parts so I get a discount so i have a little easier time affording my parts. I also do all my work myself with little help from my brother and our friends when we don't have all the right tools.
