Surprising, Amsoil wrote the results. It would be nice if some 3rd party lab would conduct the test instead of Amsoil'* testimony that it was sent out.

Good thread, I've been wondering about switching to high mileage oil after buying my '00 LeSabre with 159k miles. But I'm not sure if there'* really a reason for the change if the current oil is apparently performing just fine. From the looks of the past maintenance records, this ol' girl has been plugging right along on standard 10W-30 just fine. No burning, no leaks that I can tell. Not sure I want to mess with a good thing.
