Yea, it could be simply he has no CD'*. Like I had no tapes when I got mine, which really sucked.

Why he put a changer in the car...

And he works with Lasers @ HP, research, among other things, CD drives maybe.....

Maybe came with the car Is it a changer for sure? Or is it a device that drops tacks from the back bumper whenever cars tailgate him?

Hey, I've still got my stock tape deck. But I've never attempted to use it. I've got a 6-disc in the trunk.

That'* a changer for a 10-disc in the trunk. I prefer the look of the stock tape head unit,
and don't feel like 'fudging' the display on my ECC by removing the stereo. I own no
tapes, but do occasionally use the cassette adapter for my PDA (as an MP3 player) on
long trips.

I also like my steering wheel controls, and don't ever want to screw with an SWI-X again. Those things are a big POS. I should know. I had one installed in this car with
this HU and changer:

Hey, I get jealous when someone has a Speedo that reads over 85mph!!!
Not to mention a car with something more than just a gas gauge to let me know it'* time to see how much gas went up in price this week!

Hey I can respect your reasons for keeping it stock, I just gotta twig people every now-and-then

Besides I really can't talk, I blew a stock rear speaker the first week I owned the Bonnie, and haven't got a new one yet! :P :?

Actually, thats correct for this model of Bonneville, it should always show 3/4 to full even when its not. Now its the 1992 vintage that shows the empty tank
