Default Help with part number

Hello all, I am new to the site and hope someone can help. I have what I believe to be a factory GM tachometer that looks like it might have been mounted to a console. The only number I can find on it is under the mounting base and is number 3411793 IMP 3. Can anyone tell me what this fits? Thank you!

Thanks for moving the thread. Here are two photos of the tach. It sounds like a GM part number so that is what made me think it was.

Hm it almost looks like something aftermearket..Let me see what i can find..It resembles the shape of ones that were used on mustangs also..Ive searched the number and came up with nothing also it does not look like anything that came out on the hood or console that strikes me off the top of my head anyways..

Thanks for you help. Matt over at Yenko.net states it is a 1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass/442 console tach. I did find several examples of it after doing a search and confirmed. I appreciate the help here.
