I need to know a couple of color codes, I am going to be buying paint for the trans-am and need the color codes.

Silver ice metallic iirc this one is 79u or something like that,

After some research, I found
WA505Q or 89= Crystal Red Metallic Tintcoat
WA636R or 17=Silver Ice Metallic (aka Switchblade Silver Metallic)

The title of your thread reminded me of color codes I learned in 1984 and never forgot, resistance color codes.

I asked a friend of mine who just did work on a TA and he recalls it to beWA505Q digit 89 for the CrystalRed Metallic Tintcoat and WA636R digit 17 for Silver Ice Metallic also known as a Switch blade Silver Metalli, please let me know if you need any other assistance

Thank you, I am glad to have confirmation of what I found. I dropped the car off last night at my body guy'* house, with a trunk full of Sikkens paint and supplies Hopefully it will be back before July 21st which is the next big show in the area here.

Go to COMPNINE(dot)COM and under RESEARCH enter your VIN number. All the FOB information will pop up on (almost) any car. Give it a try with your VIN and learn a few things you never knew. Have fun.
