In regards to light black is the absence of all color. In regards to color (i.e. paint) black is the result of all colors combined. And...this just in...gravity is greater as you get closer to the earths core...

'Zactly. The reason why the human eye sees black, is because all spectrums of light are not being bounced to the retina, thus, it absorbs all light, which is white...

On the other hand, when one sees white, it'* becaue all light is being bounced to the retina...

Pearl paint is cool! It reflects all kinds of stuff on my car, pretty much ANY light it hits with my wax job.
