i hate to break it to ya, but silverstars won't come close to seths HIDS. i have a set for high beams, but i'm not very impressed. i have piaa xtreme white plus lows and those look pretty white, but the silverstars still look yellow to me.

my most drastic upgrade was to blazer driving lights (55w) i'm considering throwing some piaas in those to match my lows???!!

I was talkin stock low beams 9006'* I have seen PIAA in SpoTT'* Accord and they are garbage, fog may be good, but its different in my car.

Yes, summers in Toronto winters in Ottawa. Are you talking about the Cool Blue or the Silverstar for $24? Also, is there a drastic difference? Thanks.

I found the Cool Blues to be ok at the time, they sell for $16, the SilverStars are $24 dollars, and they are nice and white. Stay tuned to BC tonoight, once it gets dark I will post a bunch of pics of my headlamps

Two Canadian tire stores I asked said that they did not carry them and were not willing to get them for me. Which Canadian Tire store did you get yours from?

What I've found is that you can only get brighter light if you up the wattage of the bulb. All bulbs are going to put out about the same amount of light regardless of brand, unless you upgrade to HID .
The thing about the Silverstars is that they are DOT legal and give off a whiter look compared to a stock bulb, and they don't have a the blue tint on the bulb.
