General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

Hmm, it seems like you might be referring to torque steer, where the car pulls to one side (happens in FWD cars because of all the weight on the front wheels). I'm referring to when I pull out of a spot really slowly and then I tap a little harder on the pedal and then it sorta jerks as it accelerates, it might just be because I press the pedal a little harder.

gm also uses alot of "torque management" in the newer vehicles, hard to tell sometimes unless you drive two of the same vehicles back to back. we had two 6.0 gas 2500 hds at work almost the same config, same engine same gears same tires one was a 03 one was a 06. the 03 was a rocket off the line but the 06 couldnt even spin the tires. the power feels the same after 1st to second shift. imsure its gms way of saving warranty money
