Thats a tough call. Personally I think 20'* like GAMEOVER and Bonnalien (I think his are 20'*) are very tasteful. I don't think they look bad at all, I might go as far as to say they look really nice.

i only spent the money for 18'*, and you have mistaken them for 20'*. You're wonderful.

BTW, i think those wheels look AWESOME for what they are. What'* the point in getting a GXP (performance) and putting big wheels on it? Kind of an oxy moron, eh? Kudos on buying the SLE. ..time to debadge though, hehe

I think 18'* are perfect. On bonnevilles, you still have the same smooth ride, but with a taste of the extravagant big wheel look.

Especially a Riviera forum I go to often. atleast once a week there'* a thread titled "can I fit 22'* on my riv?" Can't wait until this "fad" is over.
[/rant]
it'* been going way too long to be a fad. As long as there is rap music rims will never ever ever be played out.

As for myself... I just want some nice 17"*. I can't imagine having anything more than 18"* here in bloomington because our streets are like driving through a cornfield(where corn grows).

I agree Bloomington Streets SUCK bad...but anyway, i think that anything bigger than 18'* (IMHO) sacrifice ride quality and are a little overkill

I think the "fad" is growing. They are making more and more video games and Tv shows about customizing cars like that. I know it turns my head when i see 20' +.

Rims are considered a status symbol now??

I really didnt know.

I dont really care for the. I like my rims, as long as I dont have hub caps and real rims Im happy.

I rather get performance parts.

i agree with the luxury/looks side of this. i love my 20s, and wouldnt go any smaller, i wouldnt go bigger either, tho. the ride is not that much worse with the low pros, only on really bad roads is it a problem....the SLE suspenion is to thank there i guess
i know that my car isnt a rocketship so im not going to pretend like it is one, i just take care of it and try to keep it looking the best that it can. and if having rims over 18" is such a crime, then call me guilty.
