HOLY COW does the back end really lift like a foot and a half with the compressor on? I just got it fixed and try it out, that thing really stood up in the back. I had to turn it off. I cant wait to race it again with the back end up. How much is that good for in the 1/4 anyways.

When we test drove mine, the Wife and I repeatedly press the button in the trunk jacking the car up substantially. In the interim, we went over to a Cadillac dealer to look at STS'*. We came back about an hour later and it was still coming down. Not quite as high as when we left, but visibly still up.

what'* the purpose for this option?

Just got to this thread, and chuckled hard at your reply chadow. Would be more gratifying if MrGoodwretch and a couple GM execs were the bodies. The newer models use the rear struts as mini storage capacitors. Mine went down pretty quick after use before I dissconnected the system. Vince do a tech search for the "ELC trick" and you will find detailed instructions on how to get those rear shocks up tp max and keep them up for the strip. It will definitly help the front bite down in a launch. I'm lucky enough to put 150PSI into my rear airbags and make them rock hard. They dont give in a launch whatsoever. It'* an awesome sight with my front hugging the ground lowered to the wind deflector (Or whats left of it )

Foot and a half is a little exaggerated. It'* more like just a few inches but it always looks like more.
