my brakes are really bad.. i changed them not even 5k ago and they didnt machine the rotors right, so now everytime i hit the brakes going 80+kmh the whole car shakes, i hate it..
i was looking online at gmpartsdirect.com
and they had the ORIGINAL GM rotors for 47 bucks for the GXP and 68 for the sle/ssei
does this make any sense? i thought the GXP ones should be more expensive?
price is not an issue (as long as reasonable), should i buy the original GM ones or ebay one? i really like the slotted/drilled ones but i dont wanna downgrade.. are they any good? i had them on my grand prix and they were better than stock.. just not sure about the GXP though...
i was looking at this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05...Q5fAccessories
and at this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PONTI...Q5fAccessories
again thats vs the OEM ones
what do you guys think?

The R1 Concepts Rotors are good ones to get! the other ones...don't know about.
Ceramic pads with those rotors....you'll be braking so good you'll need to invest in more glass cleaner to clean the face prints off the inside of your windshield.

I grabbed a set of their Eline rotors (plain, no holes or slots) for the front and both front and rear Posi Quiet ceramic pads. I love them, haven't seen the first hint of dust and they perform great. I got lucky and bought them on a black friday special back in November, I think the entire order was delivered for less than $100.

Brake combo'*, tires, and women are all a "preference" item ruled by many things. And perceptions hard to actually prove. All your going to get is opinion. Mine is stock rotors and ceramic/metallic mixed polymer pads. I had the gamut of it all and what I personally like in "pedal feel" and bringing me down smoothly from unsensible speeds.
I never turn rotors. Haven't ever had good luck with it. Generally I go two sets of pads and then new. If you heat warp a rotor, replace it. You aren't going to true up something that has twisted in it'* entirety by grinding it down.
