Ok so how hard is it to remove the grille so I can paint it, and then put it back in??

on your car, real easy.

open the hood and look in.
you will see two tabs (each)

you just need to push up on the bumper area a little to pop them out.
push the grill piece out towards you.

there are also two tabs on the bottom part of the grille.


install: from front two bottom first and snap in place.

I'm looking to do it as well, probably in the spring. Still can't decide on silver or try a chrome paint.
