Default Great! Now it'* NOT leaking!

If you remember, I had body work done near my windshield and they R&R'd my windshield.
Well, it has a leak. I can hear it while driving and when I got a car wash, water was running down the windshield. (on the inside)
How disappointing....The hassel of getting it repaired.....How willl they do it?
The trim loooks so nice around the windshield, Will they muck it up trying to repair the leak?
crap! thats all I can say

You can never get it right without replacing it with a new windshield. It'* on them. They have a warranty, right? Have them replace the WS with a new one.

If anyone is watching this post, I took the car in tonight and they are going to remove and re-install the windshield Tuesday.....I am praying it doesn't crack during the process . I also told them to buff the finish where the glass guy was leaning against the fenders while removing the glass. (I actually asked him, not told him )

Unless they find some magic way to get that sealant snot off the glass COMPLETELY, your odds of getting a non-leaking windshield are less than 50%. While I wish you the best, I also encourage you to press the issue HARD if the odds don't fall in your favor.

Got the car back and they got it right. No leaks. The seam looks much better this time. Before, it was bumpy as a ran my finger across it on the inside. Now it is smooth.
they not only repaired the windshield, they buffed out the hood and front fenders also because it looked like they leaned against the car unprotected and put scratches in it.
The front end looks newly painted..I am happy.
the cool thing is, he didn't even hesitate to take the car back when I called him about the leak and scratches.

i will take my wife'* car to him and see what he does for her. if all goes well, i got myself a new body man...
