The paint jobs only going to cost me $325
Where and by who? I have a white car with totally shot paint. These are the people i'll go to. It would actually be worth it to travel half way across the country. The lowest price around here for the same color is $500.

I'm guessing that it'* just the outside cause painting all the jambs/hood/trunk for that price is impossible unless serious connections were involved.

Earl will be nice to your car. Prolly won't be the custom $10,000 job but should look good for a few years.

I know of a local member with a black car that is taping if off and spray painting it from time to time if it peels. He ain't coming anywhere near my car with his can of paint.

My 89 SSE 3800 had over 300,000 km (divide by 1.6 for miles) and only problem was noisey lifters and a harmonic balancer. My 95 SSEi has 150,000 miles and only thing so far was the harmonic balancer again. Your 98 SSE 3800 should outlast that great looking black paint job you put on her! PS. I live about 20 mins from a plant in Ontario Canada that once produced the 3800 series engines. I think they now make the big V8 blocks for the caddy and vette as well as some truck lines. The guys at the plant were really proud of the quality and workmanship of that 3800 engine.
