Although Insurance totalled the car earlier this week (I'm still waiting for a $$$$ amount from them -will definitely be buying the car back) I took it into a local shop today to have a repair estimate done.
After 30 minutes of looking the car over and figuring parts/labor pricing out on the computer the total came to $2635!!!!!!!!!
I will probably only have them do the major dings. In the end there will only be a handful of very hard to see small hail dings in the trunk and hood.
Hoping to get a decent settlement from ins, but I'll have to wait until Tuesday at the earliest for word from them as they have a SH!tload of estimates and settlements to do.

Seriously, give these guys a call. My local dent wizard removed all door-dings in my car and my wife'* GP. They specialize in hail damage, although they don't get much here in California. Elsewhere in the country, hail is their primary business.
They fix the dents *without* repainting. It'* pretty cool to watch. Definitely give them a call, get an estimate. Might save you a LOT of $$$ and get your car looking right again.
I'm not affiliated with them, just a very satisfied customer.

They have a new way to remove hail dents/dings that cost less to repair here. Fortunately I haven't had deal with them yet. I hope I don't have to. Let us know the outcome of the settlement.
