Default Hail Damage!!!!!!!

So yeah a storm just ripped on by and dropped hail on my car, not little hail but golfball to baseball sized hail! Big dents in the hood trunk and roof! and to top it off... broke the windshield too!

So has anyone ever had it fixed on the roof of their car? how much did it cost?

Last I heard...it was about $75-90 per panel....dependent on dent size and location, and number of dents......

The SLE was fine...no hail at work today.....the 95 took on two nice new dings......

Sure I don't drive the car anymore......but ****.....I'm still pissed about the dings LOL

My mom tried to move it under a tree but she didn't know where my spare keys were....so I moved it now to prevent further damage....the SLE is out in the open....but....the first piece of hail I see that baby'* goin in the front yard and underneath my trees there....and I don't give a **** what my dad says.....

Grass grows back with out money....dents don't come out with out money........

For Hood, Top deck, and trunk, with 5-6 dents on the sidepanels, about $1000. (Total number of dents was about 100 on the subject car)

Problem with a per panel price is that it doesn't take into account the number of dents, or how tough it is to get at....pulling the headliner definately adds.

I live over in Anoka, but fortunately the babies were in the garage. (This time)

I used Suburban Chev, which has a great body shop. Make sure you get a good shop that won't break stuff pulling it off. There are several on Hwy 10, going towards Elk River.

Sorry to hear that green Machine.
I'm in Atlanta right now, and both of my cars were outside today. I was on the phone with my mom when it started hailing and she said it was pea size right then, but had to go get the 02 Park Ultra under the trees as the garage is ful of 53 Chrysler.
I haven't been able to get my brothers to step out side our house across town from my parents to see if the 95 got damaged and I have to wait until Morning to cal the body shop where the 99 is.
In a way I kinda have my fingers crossed the 95 got damaged, but at the same time I don't want to hassle selling the car with hail damage even if I did have insurance money for the balance of the value and besides who wants nice car, with hail damage? Definitely not me.

i havent seen anyone else with as much damage as mine yet... im going for estimates in the morning, only getting the roof fixed since i can get a hood and trunk for under 100 bucks! thanks for the input!

Yeah don't get the trunk/hood worked on unless it'* cheap. Sometimes the painless dent removal places aren't too bad.

Roof, well if you take out the headliner that'll help cut on labor. The sooner you get it done, the easier it'll be to remove.

Next time it starts hailing, throw a big comforter on top of the car. Also helps to keep an eye on the weather especially in areas known for tornado'* and frequent hail.
