At woodburn this year there was a silver fiero GN 3.8 turbo on nos running low 12'*, turbo was acting up when I spoke to the guy

L67 swaps are fairly common in Fieros, Series II swaps are more common than the Series I though. A stock Series II L67 will put a Fiero in the low-mid 13'*. A pulley and rockers and your EASILY in the 12'*.

Yeah they throw all kinds of engines into those fireo'*. SBC'*, LS1'*, North*'*, 60degreev6'*, etc.

I really doubt that the paint on the */c creates that much of a thermal barrier. When the paint is sprayed on in liquid form, it conforms to the cast outside of the */c. There is no air trapped or anything stopping heat transfer between the */c and the paint so the difference in heat should be negligible.

That is so sweet....... Fiero L67s are somewhat common..... they are really fast... and very cool.

Makes me wanna get a Fiero and do one myself....

Someday I'll post pics of my friends Fiero. He put a Corvette engine in there(don't know what year it was, mid eighties I think).
