Dang, Bill beat me to the 92 comment. If the gas needle is about half, then take a right hand coner at an "above average" speed, doesn't need to be insane, and give it some gas. If it'* still got the original fuel sender in it, it'll stall. Then talk the owner down, seeing as it "has a problem that will need fixed."

a 1992 huh? thats cool. i havent had any time to go back to the garage its at to talk to the lday about it, but ill keep all these things in mind.

is that fuel sender problem really possible? i know in my el camino if i take a turn too fast it stalls... ill see if i can pull that right hand turn off thanks a lot, ill keep you guys posted.

It'* very possible for the original sender to still be there. Mine is, a lot of other people still have it, also.
