Default Good deal?

It'* getting close to time for me to start gathering parts for the great tranny rebuild. I saw this on ebay and I thought it would give me a good foundation to start with.

But there is only a day left on it...and it is only 90 shipped at the moment, so is it worth getting?[/code]

Just says it has been inspected and cleaned...and it is just the case.

Here is the link.

Says only case...I see parts in there though. Do you need a case?

I don't see a diff housing, either.

Not really...it isn't cracked as far as I know. But if it makes a nice core to start the build up sooner...the trans shop will probably charge that much to clean and inspect what I have anyways.

Diff housing...I would have to reuse what I have I suppose, or just keep an eye out for one.

I have a diff cover, I'd send it to you for shipping if you buy that case. Or I have a 4T60e taking up room if my garage if interested.

Is the HD housing different than the non-ND? According to the writing on it, that'* a non-HD.

I believe the housings (and diff) are different. I know of a place here where I can get the HD diff and housing if needed, but I doubt this guy will separate them from the case. Also, and this may be a stupid question...will a 65-hd diff case and diff work in a 60? I know of a GTP that I can get my hands on that has an intact 65-HD ready to offer up some parts

I believe the housings are the same, but the diffs are for sure different. I'll check later, I have a diff cover off of a HD and I have an entire non HD tranny.
