Work them over. Hard.
was a trade in...the one guy who works at the dealership sold it to his friends when he worked at a diff. dealership...
Be careful.
The other one (the SLE) seems high priced to me too. Consider...I paid $10,900 for my 99 in March, 02 with only 30K miles on it from Jim Martin in Saginaw.
Negotiate hard with those guys. It'* a buyers market. The market is flooded with used cars because of the big leasing boom and sales incentives shortly after 9/11.

haha wanna hear the "supercharger" story......
Someone told my mom (who thinks she knows everything about cars) that the Superchargers on all Grand Prix'* and Bonnevilles go bad at 75K....so now she is all hell bent on not letting me get a supercharged car...I told her how bogus that sounded and she went off on me about how it was $3500 to fix and it was gonna be all my bill and bla bla bla........only reason she is on this kick is becuz some guy my dad works with has a gtp and his supercharger went bad...(only one I've EVER heard of) but yea.....pretty gay......
and the trade in goes....I owe $6800 on my X....I can't really find a car for a lot less than what I'm looking at becuz dealers dont wanna talk to me....I found a 40th SSE downstate they watned $4500 for...called on it...dealer basically told me to go somewhere else and hung up..... :? :(

it would take her a LOT of reading to verify the correct facts, and im sure she doesnt want to do that....
whole lot easier just to get an NA.....but then thats no fun
