I have a gold pontiac logo on the front of my bonnie, why is it not red like everyone elses?

In the early '90'* SSEi'* they were gold to help distinguish them as the flagship model for Pontiac. Pontiac also put them on some Green Bonnevilles as a Green/Gold package. They may have done this with Red cars too.
