GOD FORD SUCKS!!!!!!
Don't worry, he pays for everything. The paint work will be included with all the repairs. Tell him the total after it'* done, or get an estimate and see if you can get that money from him in advance so he doesn't try and screw you and disappear when you're ready to pick your car up from the shop.

Sorry Boat. I got confused myself. You're talking about the punk a$$ who keyed your paint job
My bad.
Well the rear quarter panel is the POS Escort guy'* fault. The keying isn't. But find that guy and prove he did it so you can get him to pay for it. Or you'll have to pay for that yourself. Get the SOB!!!
Sorry for the misunderstanding there.

It extends to the roof but I believe the panel is welded on that 'crease' that'* in it. But I'm not 100% sure. I need mine replaced too. The panel is definitley a few hundred bucks, since I was quoted around $800 or so to do mine, and that includes painting and crap.

Yeah...I'll have to get a written estimate next time though. They quickly gave me a verbal. It could be more than $800.
But in your case it will get paid for by the moron. The paint job that got keyed will also be a few hundred probably. But get that bastid..hopefully you won't have problems getting him to pay for it.

1) If you dont know by now that you dont just bolt in a quarter pannel I have trouble believing you..
2) You put on somthing called a "fog" coat to blend the pieces together. A body shop hides there color differences very good.. all it takes is an angle. They also feather the edges to make it as smooth as glass.
3) If its on someone elses tab forget about it!!
