Default Gauges

Ok, I am having a member on the board here make me a 3 gauge pillar pod for my 00+. I'm super new at these gauges and don't really know what gauges there are, where to get them, what each gauge does, and how much they cost. Im looking for any help I can get on this topic! So please feel free to post any knowledge you may have! Thanks in advance!

I chose cyberdyne digital gauges the second time around. I'm very happy with them. Make sure you pay the little extra for the memory function.

I have a aeroforce scan gauge, and a radar detector.

Here'* a site that has gauges. http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/ the prices seem good, but I have not ordered any from them. I did get the gauge cups here, they shipped real fast and I got what I asked for.

He'* obviously set on filling a 3-gauge pillar pod, so perhaps we should make some reccomendations on how to fill all 3.

Aeroforce would be a good choice for one, or maybe two if it'* in the budget. The aeroforce is quite a bit more expensive than most other gauges though.

Yes, it does.

I would select the two primary functions you want the Aeroforce to display (KR should be one of them), and then pick the other two gauges out of what'* left.

Personally, I love my radar detector, lots of GREAT features, volt meter, and outside temp. I dropped the temp probe in to my air box. You can find them here, http://www10.shopping.com/xPO-Whistler-FUZION but the price is a bit high. I found mine on Ebay for $150.00, got lucky. The only other gauge I've been considering is a fuel/air mixture, and they have one at glowshift for a good price.

Whatever you do, don't buy an AFR gauge unless you go wideband. Without wideband, the gauge tells you nothing and is worthless.
