Had both only my 97.

The Gatorback seems to be a heartier belt from a thickness standpoint.

Never had an issue with either belt, noise or slipping. Personally.. if one is available over the other..that'* the one I'd get. It'* my opinion that the Gator will probably stretch less and be useful longer..

I've never had belt whistle either. And ths softness is a good point. Both Dayco and Gates load up the grooves in my supercharger pulleys.
