Default Gas fill problem ? Help !

Ok my 99 Bonneville, stopped to get gas today with about 1/4 tank, started pumping and it kept shutting off and backing up the fill tube even if you ran it slow...

Tried another pump same thing, like the fill tube was blocked off or the tank was full.

Managed about 1/2 tank and drove the car about 60 miles. Pulled into the station and filled it full blast no problem. What gives here ?? Havent hit anything or nothing either

Vent tube might have had a blockage(failure to burp)???

Never really heard of that before.
