Since its cold by me will this cause me to run through gas alot quicker? I've been noticing that my gas has been going pretty quickly and was wondering if its cause of the cold weather or what?

Winter blend fuel sucks. That about sums it up.

Winter blend gas yields slightly worse MPGs.

I noticed I got a 1/2 tank of V-Power 93 about a week ago, and it disappeared quickly. of course I have a VERY heavy foot.

Ok thanks guys! I thought something was up had almost half a tank yesterday and now I'm close to empty! Didn't even drive a whole heck of alot either..

Also that when its colder out your car makes more HP so that eats up more gas.

Cold air is denser air. More air coming in equals more fuel.

do you drive with the heat on. especially full blast. that will eat all of your gas also

Takes more time for your car to warm up and get to closed loop operation as well, you're running pretty rich up until this point.

not thread jacking but your saying that when i first crank up my car and im driving around, keep the heat low? i didnt think that the heater core running on high would drink gas. i thought the A/C only did that. also to isnt it true the higher grade of gas you use the better the MPG?

The A/C doesn't burn fuel.
