just wanted to let everyone know just how clost the G TECH pro competion is to the real thing at the track. the first pass i made i set it when i prestaged. lunched the car and got my time slip. compared the data on the g tech and my time slip. they were off by only 3/100 of a sec and the mph was within 1/4 of a mph.
well worth the cost of this tool

I've had one for a few months but haven't had a chance to really even break it in yet. I am amazed at how well it can read the RPM'* thru the power signal. Too bad they keep pushing the release date back for the software. It is now back 6 months from when it was originally supposed to be relaesed.

i now what you mean about the pc software issue , i have called them 3 times so far and they tell me the same thing everytime, about 3 weeks till release lol.
also i think that G TECH locked the price on this nice little tool. no matter where you look, it is 249.95 . that price is on their website, all the mag reviews, summit racing and jegs too.
i think its like milk and cigs, they have a min price that they will sell at and no less.
but i can tell you this, it is worth every penny you pay for it

Well, I just checked back ...again... to see when the software will be available and here is what it says (per the gtechpro.com website):
Q. When will your PC software be available?
A. The PC software should be available for downloading by late May 2003.
I am expecting the date to be pushed out another 2 months any day now.

It'* about time G-Tech figured out how to make an accurate box. The first G-Tech was a POS, ours crapped out in about a month. I bought a Brit Box a few years ago to replace it.
