Default funny and embarassing

i was going to work last month and i heard loud banging coming from my car everytime i took a turn. im like "wtf is that?" i heard the same thing coming home. all of a sudden one day i had to back up a ways because there was no parking where i was going, and when i was backing up, i noticed the door to my gas tank was flapping open and slamming closed. so as im going home from this outing, i see my rearview mirror the door slamming against the car. from what i saw it looked like my car was being sexually spanked by the door to the gas tank. i temporarily fixed it with velcro but i gotta find a new spring loaded hinge or something. thats gonna suck taking that panel off to get in there and access that.

wow i just realized my car is getting the **** beaten out of it. i should get something stronger like a k5 blazer or something.

Why don't you hit up Chuck and Eddies with Justin. Black is a pretty common color. To swap one out on most GM'*, you pull the plastic around the filler neck then it'* two 10mm nuts.

its not the plastic around the filler neck, its that little spring and piece of metal that connected to the little v-arm that held the door. the piece of metal rusted away, thus releasing the spring. i wouldve saved the spring but it shot somewhere and i cant find it. (ya i have good luck i know)

Nah..that just means you have the wrong tools.

first time I swapped a mirror on a Bonneville it took me 45 min to get the mirror off. Got a new tool, 5 min to put it on. Got another new tool and I can remove/install that mirror in less than 5. It'* all about the right tool.
