Scotty... I'll definitely get it done. My wife is going to take it in one day next week!

I guess I'm one of the first ones to get the notification.

I actually got the notification several months ago. But since I had just changed mine, I threw it away.

This is only for the L36, which would be 95+. But, I don't think the recall goes all the way back to 95. Earliest I've heard is 98 (MOS).

You can have the dealer run the VIN to tell you if the vehicle is affected. If it is, they can also tell you whether or not it'* been done. If it'* a recall, it won't cost you anything for them to perform the work.

Its a ser 2 L67 problem too. Or at least it was for me. It put a strain on my fuel pump causing it to fail too. Luckely, my warrenty company paid for most of it or else I would have been stuck with a $900 bill.

I called the Buick dealership this morning to get the recall completed (the Buick dealer is closer and I prefer them over the Pontiac dealership....plus it'* a Buick engine!!). I told the receptionist that took my call that I got a recall notification. She told me to bring it in Monday for the recall. I asked her "so you already know what recall I'm talking about?" She replied with "yes, the one for the coolant capsules?" Of course, I told her no and told her it was for the fuel pressure regulator. She said it'* only a 15 minute fix for the fuel pressure regulator.

BUT...What recall is there for "coolant capsules"?? Sounds fishy to me! Is that a make-shift fix for something related to the upper intakes?
