Restore: Engine Restore. Saw a commercial for it saying for high mileage engines, that stuff work pretty good or is there something better?

Junk.
Remember this.... There is no such thing as a mechanic or a rebuild in a can.
Our engines don't generally need that sort of thing anyways.

Think about it this way, if it will stick to the cylinder walls to seal scratches, it will stick to the oil galley walls to “seal” them too.
Even if these goops work they are temporary Band-Aids at best.
The only way to restore ring seal is with a bore/hone and new rings.
