Default Front motor mount

I took a bar to the front of the engine and the mount and the bottom of it lifted up so you could see under it with a pry bar lifting it up,is that normal?

Nope. Try observing the engine while running with someone else shifting between drive, neutral and reverse a few times. Also, put it in drive, step on the brake, and rev it a little (be careful to not rev past what the brakes will hold). If the engine is bucking like a bronco you need a new front mount.

I made one of these for both my bonnevilles... It worked great and you never have to worry about it failing.

It makes the car drive completely different as well (in a good way) compared to having a blown mount.

The one you saw was one of mine, Gunner borrowed it to see if you were interested. There is a little extra vibration, but I actually like it. I've had people say it makes the car sound meaner.
