God those things are stupid... I can just imagine what was going through the last one's mind... "Dang... 42 of the guys died after trying that new food. hmm... maby it was just a fluke, let me try some..."

One time at my old house (we lived on the top of a very tall hill), my dad tried to kill a racoon by tossing a can of beer at it. The can-o-beer probably didn't kill it, but it did knock the coon off the tree. It probably fell about 30 or 40 ft.

The reason my dad chucked a beverage at the animal in the 1st place, was the racoon kept eating out of our bird feeder. And we can't have that :bazooka:

we had two sitting in the rafters in our machine shed, one was right above the bonny! I took my trusty pump pellet gun and probably shot it in the hands about 10 times each before it fell. My dog fought it for awhile, and when it looked like Minnie (my dog) needed help I finished off the 'coon with a couple of big rocks (messy, but they got it done). If I had known beforehand that they are poisonous I would have hit it wiht the rocks before my dog fought it, she was wierd for a couple of days.

Last kill of this sort that I got was when I hit a bird that was chasing a mouth that had flown low in front of my 1982 Camaroe with the 173 engine,(4 speed). The mouth floated up over the hood but the bird caught it in the neck with my cars grill. Looked in the rear view and saw that poor bird flapping on the highway blacktop. First time I'd ever used that car to kill a bird,(but not the last  ) Anyway, good kill. I've been thinking of doing the crosbow thing myself. Something I can use agianst all types of varmits both four and two legged here in the city limits.

Well I got myself a hawk a couple years ago with my 88LE. Was going under an underpass when the bird got up and hit the front windshield at about 75mph. Talk about a loud bang. Cracked my already cracked windshield even more. It also left a nice white print in the windshield. Needless to say I don't think he lived with the dead duck flop I saw him making across the interstate after I hit him.
