Silly wiper blade question
Hey All,
OK, here'* my deal. . .
The wiper blades on the Bonneville were coming apart, and I was having a hard time finding refills that worked with the stock wiper arms. Since I had to do something to get them functional, I simply pulled the stock blade holders off and put on a pair of the generic plastic ones on the car.
Figured this was an opportunity to paint up the stock pieces, with the wind deflector built on there. I don't know if those type are unique to Bonnevilles or what, but mine were looking pretty beat up. So I've given them a coat of primer and a couple coats of black spray that I hope will last for a little while at least.
But. . . it'* been so long since I pulled these pieces off the car, I can't recall which way they are supposed to be installed. Does the flat wind-deflector part point towards the bottom of the windshield, or the top???? Looks like maybe the bottom, but I'd like to make sure. Someone here MUST know the answer to this. I will appreciate your help!
Oh, and I did finally find an Anco refill that snaps into the stock arm. Just had to find the right store! Several people I talked to at a couple differnt stores kept telling me the standard plastic ones were all I was going to be able to do. Guess not all blade companies make the style refill these cars need.

I believe that the 92-94 and possibly the early 95 have a actual wind deflector built on to the wiper arm they are different than the ones that harofreak has pictured. Some one has a white 92 SSEi It is in the Pic with Merlin 91/97 with the deflectors

harofreak00, you have the same ones that I have on currently. those are the generic replacements. At 22inches, they don't park quite as nicely as the Original Equipment ones that came with my '94. BTW, have you been hassled about running your front plate on the dash versus actually mounted to the bumper? I ask because I got stopped once in my old Camaro because I did not have the front plate mounted on the outside, I had it on the dash like what I see in your pictures. Just a word of caution. . .
Thanks for the replies everyone!
