My wife has reservations allready in town by Webster NY.
If you want to go look at the Bonneville that would be cool of you.
Thanks for the dinner invite, I'll check with my wife and make plans to do that. Thanks.
Just let the owner know how we know each other and that Todd sent you; he should be ok with it. In fact i'll let him know to expect you some time tomorrow.
His name is Larry. Older man. very nice.
I'll PM you the address.

its ok man...dont sweat it, from what i have found out the same key code was used on 96-98 for sure and again in 00...so i have to assume that they used the same ID# for 99 too...and you can always find out what ID# it is when you get the car, and take a peek at the fob that came with it

As far as some people feeling that it is hard to find Bonnevilles; go to:
http://autotrader.com/

its my friend in finding Bonnevilles.

check this one out:
http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ca...g=&cardist=843

i'm still buying the 99 maroon, but this other one would be nice to.
I already had black, that is why i'm not going to buy the black 99 found at the above site.

Just got done looking at and driving the car. Sent the report to Toddster. The car is really nice and runs and drives great and looks great as well. No pictures cause it was still dirty and the owner wanted to get it cleaned up. it gets my seal of approval.

Jimmyfloyd wrote, and thank you very much for going out of your way and doing this!!

Just got back from looking at it. It is very clean. The body is in excellent condition and he pointed out the two imperfections on the body which he said he told you about and I could not find any others. Both of the ones he pointed out could be removed with the paintless dent repair, although one has a small scratch with it (one on the trunk) but it is nothing major. Front and rear bumpers are in excellent condition as far as I could see with no cracks or scuffs (didn't get a chance to look under them though)

The motor looked clean as well and i did not see any oil where they normally pool up, although I was losing light at that point, so I didn't get a good detailed look (left my flashlight in binghamton) The fluids were good (didn't check oil cause I had already started it) and the engine sounded great (better than my lumina).

The interior was in good shape as well. The driver'* seat had some wear on it, but nothing out of the ordinary for a car that age. The passenger seat the had the age wrinkles like all leather gets. The glove box latch is cracked, which I believe he told you. He said it was like that when he got it. I might have one here and if you want to stop over with the car after you purchase it we'll see if I got one that matches and if I do, $10 and it'* yours. Nothing else in the interior was broken that I saw except there was no center cup holder, which is common in these cars. No HUD, Power Driver only, but did have TC, ECC, 7-band CD, sunroof etc.

I drove the car about 2 miles and it drove great. Rode straight down the road, and didn't make any noise when turning. The brakes seemed to stop well and he said they only had about 10-11K on them. The tires were decent. The fronts have maybe another year on them but the backs have a good deal left. You could rotate them and be good for 2-3 years I believe. They wore evenly from what I could see.

My personnal opinion on this car is that it is worth the money. I would check the oil and the fluids again when you got there since it was kinda dark when I did, but I would say it is well worth the money. If I had saw this car, I would be trying to purchase it to replace my lumina.

If you would like to crash at my place you are welcome to. I am not sure what your plans are for the trip. It is very easy to get to his place from mine as well. If you would like to, then give me a call and I will get you directions. Hope this helps. I think you are getting a good deal on the car.
