First snow...
I get SCARED when I think snow. It'll be time to get the tractor weights in the trunk soon. *dueling banjos in background*
I have spent the winter in a rear wheel drive TRUCK before, but it'* a little different with the Bonnie. The truck was stick, and I was pretty experienced with her. I haven't even had the bonnie for 6 months :? Wish me luck.
Thankfully, no MAJOR snow yet, but it has been frosting like crazy and we have even had a snow flurry. YIKES
And I don't GET special tires. I have to stick with the tires with flat spots from braking too hard that have been terrible even WITHOUT the flat spots. I hope I don't wreck this winter!!!!

I grew up in the south, so I supposedly don't know how to drive in the snow. But I've never put on special tires or anything for winter. Just slowed down, allowed more room, and prayed everyone else is doing the same. So far, so good.
The closest I've come is on the way to work one night, a couple of people apparently bumped into each other going around a curve on the hiway (62 west just east of 100 for those that know the area). Well, instead of pulling off to the side to wait for help, they decide the middle of the hiway is the place to be. So i'm "booking along" at 50 or so when I make the curve, and "Suprise", a whole road full of stupid people. I tried to swerve, and ended up going around them, half on the highway, half in the median, still doing 50 or so, only sideways. Cussing just short of enough to melt the dash. Somehow, I managed to get straightened out, back in my lane, and all the way to work. Then I stood in the parking lot letting the falling snow and stream of offensive language cool me down.
Have I mentioned lately how much I hate driving around here in the winter?

It has been snowing here on and off...we had the wild wind up noth too. I had a blast throwing the Bonne around in an empty snow filled parking lot this afternoon...perhaps I wont get snow tires!!
Just to the west of us, they have about a foot of snow on the ground...and it is still coming!
I will have to go and run around in the snow on Sat.
Yea...I know...I'm sick!
