What to use as buffer between wires.
Ok, the way the wires sit behind my engine, my #6 spark wire is ALWAYS in full contact with my o2 sensor wire...is it necessary to worry about putting a buffer there? And if I were to do that, what would I use?

I'm surprised you can't get it off the harness. My wire was touching it after I replaced my wires, but it took a couple seconds to fix it. Is the wire going over or under the harness?
You will have some problems if you don't get it off. I'm not sure what to use to cover the wire. :?

Even a zip tie would hold it out of the way...I simply re routed that plug wire a different way

Mine tries to do that too, but I have always been able to re-train the wires to lie apart, takes some patience but never longer than about 30 seconds of fiddling with it. Tie wrap is a great idea though.

I used wire loom just for extra protection and soon after it melted and dripped onto the EMs from the ambient heat. It wasn't one of my bright moments.
